So expect to be spoiled this week in YoVille! There will be special surprises, new releases, features based on player’s requests and more! You’ll definitely want join in on all the fun we have planned:

Extra time : we’ve had a lot of requests from you all for longer times between themes. We listen to your needs and understand your requests.Therefore as part of our player love week, we’re going to be extending the rainforest theme for an extra week! This will include two extra releases this week and will give you enough time to get all the items you want and decorate your house before the next theme arrives! We hope you all appreciate the extra time and effort we put into making this possible and enjoy it:)

Special releases : We’re gearing up for the 4th of July here on Yoville. We asked you for your suggestions and we got some terrific feedback! So in addition to the fantastic new 4th of July collectibles, you can look forward to new furniture, clothing, hair and maybe even some of those fireworks that you asked for! Look forward to some great patriotic items coming your way this week!

Player Love Surprise : We also want you all to know how much we love and appreciate your support. So we have special a ‘Player Love Surprise’ in store for you. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at! All you’ve got to do is log in to the game on the 28th of June to unlock your special surprise. This is a one-time offer that you won’t wanna miss! So don’t forget to log in and discover what’s in store for you!

New Chat feature : We’re bringing you a really cool new chat feature that’s going to make chatting with your friends and neighbors even more fun! Now you will be able to type out emoticons instead of having to select it from the emoticon menu, saving you time! Since there is a restriction in YoVille chat that allows you to display only 140 characters at a time, you will only be able to use one emoticon per statement. If there is more than one emoticon symbol used in a single chat statement, only the first emoticon will be displayed.

Icon clean up: We know you all have been asking for fewer icons on your screens and we’re ready to give you just that!! Wacth out for an all new look coming soon, with fewer icons to give you even more decorating space to work with, host parties and provide you with a better view of all the areas in YoVille! We’re really excited about this and hope you will be too! Look forward to more details on this great new feature coming soon!

Do your part to help save the animals of the Rainforest with our all new Rainforest Rescue Event and be a Hero today! Then head on to have some fun with the Animated Baby Kong reward which we’re sure you’ll all love!

Let’s check out how this limited time Rainforest Rescue Event will work. It will be tons of fun, easy to get involved and include an awesome reward so let’s learn more…

There will be a Rescue icon that will appear in game. To be specific the icon and this offer will only be available until June 27th so please keep this in mind and act fast if you want to get involved!

First, Click the new Rescue Icon, to open the pop up

In order to receive your reward for taking part in the event you will need help from your friends in rescuing the animals of the Rainforest who are in danger from poachers!  To ask your friends for help click on the “Ask Your Friends” Button and have your friends send you these animals. You can also send these animals back to friends so that you can help them out as well! If you do not want to send requests to friends you will have the option to rescue these animals by clicking on the “Buy” button.

Once you receive all the animals you need, you will see the “Finish” button that will appear at the bottom of the pop-up.

By clicking the “Finish” button, a “Congratulations” dialog will appear.

Once you have completed the event successfully you should find the Baby Kong in your inventory.

We really hope you guys will be as excited as we are to have the Animated Baby Kong as part of your Rainforest Homes! We are super happy to give you a chance to be able to earn it!

The Plushie Design Contest will work the same way as the Costume design contests we’ve had in the past. Except, we’re asking you to design your own original Plushie’s instead of costumes. Giving yourself a makeover just got a whole lot simpler! We know that this is something that you all have been asking for and we care about what YOU want. And we’re now ready to give you an all new Clothing Inventory! That’s right, we’re talking new categories and sections – everything to make things more convenient for You!

Let’s find out how this new inventory is going to work:
Previously, all your accessories were grouped in a single Sub-category under the “Edit Clothes” option. With the new Feature, you will now be able to view all your favourite Glasses, Rings, Earrings, Bracelets, Handhelds, Gloves and Necklaces in a separate, new “Accessories” tab!

This tab will appear under the “Customize your look” option alongside “Face” and Clothes”.

The new Sub-categories that we have now introduced under the “Accessories” tab are:

• Belts
• Necklaces
• Glasses
• Rings
• Bracelets
• Earrings
• Handhelds (this includes all handhelds, purses and bags)
• Gloves

As you can see, we will now be giving you much more specific categories – which are going to make changing your Yoville look that much easier and all the more fun!

And guess what? We’re not done yet! That’s right, there’s more to look forward to!

To make your search even simpler we are also going to roll out a new ‘Search Box’ as part of the clothing inventory soon! This Search Box will allow you to key in your favorite clothing items or accessories and find them immediately without the hassle of going through all the items in your inventory.

We’re working on bringing you this additional feature soon and will keep you informed about when you can expect it.

Wondering how this new feature will work?

Lets find out:
You will now find a wrapped scroll waiting for you in your Homes.

Once you click on the scroll, you will receive your Horoscope for the day. You will also have the option to share your daily Horoscope with your Yoville friends by choosing to ‘publish a feed’. Because this involves feeds, this feature will only be available to players on Facebook.

The Horoscope will be be shown to you only once a day. After reading your horoscope for the day, the scroll will disappear until the next day. Since this is a new feature this will be rolled out to you all gradually.

Are you ready to go down in History? Then check out this limited time Legendary new Event will work. Become immortalized as the greatest warrior of your age and escape with the love of your life from the dungeon! Your destiny awaits you! You can win a dashing Gladiator and the fearsome Mini-taur.

This event is going to be tons of fun, easy to take part in and includes some awesome rewards so let’s find out more…

There will be a Hero’s Journey Icon (Arena and Dungeon) that will appear in game for a very short amount of time. To be specific, the icon and this offer will only available until June 15th so please keep this in mind. If you want to get involved, you better act fast!

First, Click the new Hero’s Journey Icon,to open the pop up.

In order to unlock your event you will need from your friends help in gathering the necessary items to make this event happen. Click on the “Ask Your Friends” Button to have your friends send you these items and you can also send gifts back and return the favor! If you do not want to ask your friends for help, you will also have the option to buy each item for a certain price.

Once you receive all the items you need,you’ll get the “Finished” button will appear at the at the bottom of the pop-up.

Then you will get the popup that your Dashing Gladiator is in your inventory. After which you will have just one final step to complete all the tasks that lead up to the super exciting Hero’s Event!

The Second Icon will now appear on the screen

The last set of tasks to be completed will then appear. You can once again ask friends to help you complete these tasks or you can opt to purchase them.

Ensure you click on the “Finish” button, once you complete all the tasks! Once you click on the Finish button, a popup dialog will appear on your screen and you will receive all the items in your inventory to start decorating!

You wont want to miss out on these great new animated items, so get started on your Hero’s Journey now!

Hey Everyone,

We’re introducing a new social feature in Factory Jobs on YoVille! Let’s take a look at what the feature entails and the great benefits it has.

Until now, you were able to perform jobs independently. From here on,we’re giving you the chance to earn Extra Yocoins for performing the same job as long as you can get your friends to help you out!

Here’s how you can about this:

Each player can now invite (Hire) three of his (YoVille) friends to become crew members in the factory

The first three hires can be any of your Yoville friends. However, the fourth hire must be a player who has not logged into the game for the past week ( Star Hire). If you do not have any such friends, we will give you the option to hire any Facebook friend instead.

This invitation will be either through W2W feeds or requests

All crew members will contribute to the earning of the player

Each active crew member contributes 50 % of what the players earns.

After working once, all crew members will go into sleep mode

Crew members can be woken up by feeding them Hot Dogs

Hot Dogs can be procured by publishing a feed

• The person who clicks on the feed also get a Hot Dog in return

• If the person clicking the feed does not have crew members in YoVille, then they are taken to the Factory

• Hot Dogs do not get accumulated : you cannot collect more than one hot dog at a time

• Crew members can only work when the player can work i.e. energy is at 100

So there you go! A great new way for you to earn extra YoCoins on the same old jobs and have even more fun with your friends! What are you waiting for? Try out this new social feature today!

We know this would make trading simpler for you all and as always, we want the best for our community. Therefore, for the first time ever, we’re giving you the NEW 10K Trade Button!!

How does this button work?

Until now, the highest denomination we offered you was the 1000 trade button. You would have had to click on the 1000 button ten times to get to the 10K value. But from here on, its going to be an easy, one click process!

Also, now you can only click on Agree to trade if there is an offer made by the other party. If there is no offer, it will not be possible to click on agree. This is to avoid scams and making trading fair to you all.

Hey Yovillians,

We’re set to roll out an exciting new feature which will enable players to share their in game Relationship Status with their friends! How will it work?

Let’s find out:

When you click on your avatar, you will be able to change your status from a drop-down list once your mouse over ‘Change Status’.
Players can see the Yo Status of other players by clicking on their avatars. The Yo Status will show up below the players name.  Your Yo status will be visible to everyone in the game. ‘None’ is the default status.

Status options are:
None (—) {no status appears to others}
Single
Looking for romance
In a relationship
Open relationship
It’s complicated
Married

On clicking ‘View My Relationships’, you will be able to see all the relationships that you have formed with your Buddies.

To form a relationship:

• The player must be an on game Buddy.
• Both players must be live at the time of sending a request.
• Click on your Buddy’s avatar -> hit “form a relationship” -> choose from your options.
• Next, a request will be sent to your friend.( similar to buddy and trading request)
• If  they accept, then both players are sent a congratulations pop-ups and have the ability to share it in the form of a news feed.

To delete/ end a relationship :

• Click on your avatar -> hit “view relationships” -> click the X button next to the relationship that you wish to end.
• This will prompt a confirmation pop-up and send a message to the other player, which will show up in their Message Box ( Not in news feed) after a short while.
• Confirm and relationship is ended.

Multiples of the same relationship can exist. For instance,you can be married to more than one person at the same time!

You can send a request to another player and should you change your mind at any point, you can cancel the request before the other party accepts or declines.

The other person can also choose to accept or decline your relationship request.

If your friend denies your request you will be  informed.

If your friend accepts, then both players are sent a congratulations pop-ups and have the ability to share it in the form of a news feed.
