Once you click on the scroll, you will receive your Horoscope for the day. You will also have the option to share your daily Horoscope with your Yoville friends by choosing to ‘publish a feed’. Because this involves feeds, this feature will only be available to players on Facebook.

The Horoscope will be be shown to you only once a day. After reading your horoscope for the day, the scroll will disappear until the next day. Since this is a new feature this will be rolled out to you all gradually.

Based on the feedback we received from players on the forums, we’ve decided to host another fun and exciting Signature design competition for all of you! We’ve recently welcomed three great New Ninja’s to the Yoville Ninja Team, so this contest will be just for them!

Here’s how:

The forum ninjas need the help of our creative players to create some signatures that they will proudly display as their official forum signature after the contest concludes and the community votes on the winners!

Starting Wednesday, June 2nd at 6am PST we will kick off the competition and it will conclude on Sunday, June 5th at 11:59pm PST,followed by a poll for players to vote on their top choices for 1st,2nd and 3rd place winners!

Hey Yovillians,

Are you ready to go down in History? Then check out this limited time Legendary new Event will work. Become immortalized as the greatest warrior of your age and escape with the love of your life from the dungeon! Your destiny awaits you! You can win a dashing Gladiator and the fearsome Mini-taur.

This event is going to be tons of fun, easy to take part in and includes some awesome rewards so let’s find out more…

There will be a Hero’s Journey Icon (Arena and Dungeon) that will appear in game for a very short amount of time. To be specific, the icon and this offer will only available until June 15th so please keep this in mind. If you want to get involved, you better act fast!

First, Click the new Hero’s Journey Icon,to open the pop up.

In order to unlock your event you will need from your friends help in gathering the necessary items to make this event happen. Click on the “Ask Your Friends” Button to have your friends send you these items and you can also send gifts back and return the favor! If you do not want to ask your friends for help, you will also have the option to buy each item for a certain price.

Once you receive all the items you need,you’ll get the “Finished” button will appear at the at the bottom of the pop-up.

Then you will get the popup that your Dashing Gladiator is in your inventory. After which you will have just one final step to complete all the tasks that lead up to the super exciting Hero’s Event!

The Second Icon will now appear on the screen

The last set of tasks to be completed will then appear. You can once again ask friends to help you complete these tasks or you can opt to purchase them.

Ensure you click on the “Finish” button, once you complete all the tasks! Once you click on the Finish button, a popup dialog will appear on your screen and you will receive all the items in your inventory to start decorating!

You wont want to miss out on these great new animated items, so get started on your Hero’s Journey now!

Hey Yovillians,

We’re getting ready to roll out many more design contests because we know how much you all enjoy the opportunity to show off your creative skills!

To start things off, we’ re having our first Collectible Design Contest, beginning on May 28th @ 12 PM (Pacific Standard Time).

The Collectible Design Contest will work the same way as the Costume design contests we’ve had in the past. Except, we’re asking you to design your own original Collectibles instead of costumes. We’ll choose Two winners from the entries we receive and those two winning collectible designs will go into the game! We’re excited to see all of the talent that’s out there in the world of YoVille! So get ready to show us what you are made of!

Let’s walk through the guidelines and how to submit an entry to this contest…

- Entries will be accepted from May 28th at 12 PM (Pacific Standard Time) until June 3rd at 12 PM (Pacific Standard Time). After all of the entries are gathered our team will announce our top choices and let the players vote for their favorites!

- Only one entry post per player. Please do not post more than once. Otherwise you will be disqualified! Spamming your entry will not be allowed.

- No modifying/editing your posts once they have been entered. Please use the preview function on your post before hitting “submit”

- No Copying any other players entries or original artwork. All designs must be created by you! Breaking this rule will receive an immediate disqualification

Prizes

How to Enter

Step 1

Go to Paint or PhotoShop or any type of image editing program you have installed on your computer and use the tools provided to design your collectible. Please remember that our devs can only do so much, so keep the collectibles you’ve seen in the game already in mind and come up with realistic ideas. Have fun with it!! Don’t be afraid to use color and/ or animation..get creative! And make sure to save along the way!!

Step 2

Next you are going to have to upload your image to an Image hosting site like Tinypic or Photobucket. If you do not already have an account you will need to create one. Once that you have uploaded your picture to your account your image will be given links and codes for the image. Make sure to Copy the IMG Code provided for your image.

Step 3

Paste your IMG code into the into the post on this thread only https://zyn.ga/5ww. Please note that this thread is ONLY for submissions. Any discussions about the contest belongs here https://zyn.ga/5wv 
Keeping these two threads separate will help us be able to sort through entries when choosing the top entries.

Hey Everyone,

We’re introducing a new social feature in Factory Jobs on YoVille! Let’s take a look at what the feature entails and the great benefits it has.

Until now, you were able to perform jobs independently. From here on,we’re giving you the chance to earn Extra Yocoins for performing the same job as long as you can get your friends to help you out!

Here’s how you can about this:

Each player can now invite (Hire) three of his (YoVille) friends to become crew members in the factory

The first three hires can be any of your Yoville friends. However, the fourth hire must be a player who has not logged into the game for the past week ( Star Hire). If you do not have any such friends, we will give you the option to hire any Facebook friend instead.

This invitation will be either through W2W feeds or requests

All crew members will contribute to the earning of the player

Each active crew member contributes 50 % of what the players earns.

After working once, all crew members will go into sleep mode

Crew members can be woken up by feeding them Hot Dogs

Hot Dogs can be procured by publishing a feed

• The person who clicks on the feed also get a Hot Dog in return

• If the person clicking the feed does not have crew members in YoVille, then they are taken to the Factory

• Hot Dogs do not get accumulated : you cannot collect more than one hot dog at a time

• Crew members can only work when the player can work i.e. energy is at 100

So there you go! A great new way for you to earn extra YoCoins on the same old jobs and have even more fun with your friends! What are you waiting for? Try out this new social feature today!

Hey Yovillians,

Over the last few weeks, we’ve had a lot of requests for a higher trading button denomination, coming in from you guys. We know this would make trading simpler for you all and as always, we want the best for our community. Therefore, for the first time ever, we’re giving you the NEW 10K Trade Button!!

How does this button work?

Until now, the highest denomination we offered you was the 1000 trade button. You would have had to click on the 1000 button ten times to get to the 10K value. But from here on, its going to be an easy, one click process!

Also, now you can only click on Agree to trade if there is an offer made by the other party. If there is no offer, it will not be possible to click on agree. This is to avoid scams and making trading fair to you all.

We hope you enjoy this new addition and much as we enjoy giving you what you ask for!

Hey Yovillians,

We’re set to roll out an exciting new feature which will enable players to share their in game Relationship Status with their friends! How will it work?

Let’s find out:

When you click on your avatar, you will be able to change your status from a drop-down list once your mouse over ‘Change Status’.
Players can see the Yo Status of other players by clicking on their avatars. The Yo Status will show up below the players name.  Your Yo status will be visible to everyone in the game. ‘None’ is the default status.

Status options are:
None (—) {no status appears to others}
Single
Looking for romance
In a relationship
Open relationship
It’s complicated
Married

On clicking ‘View My Relationships’, you will be able to see all the relationships that you have formed with your Buddies.

To form a relationship:

• The player must be an on game Buddy.
• Both players must be live at the time of sending a request.
• Click on your Buddy’s avatar -> hit “form a relationship” -> choose from your options.
• Next, a request will be sent to your friend.( similar to buddy and trading request)
• If  they accept, then both players are sent a congratulations pop-ups and have the ability to share it in the form of a news feed.

To delete/ end a relationship :

• Click on your avatar -> hit “view relationships” -> click the X button next to the relationship that you wish to end.
• This will prompt a confirmation pop-up and send a message to the other player, which will show up in their Message Box ( Not in news feed) after a short while.
• Confirm and relationship is ended.

Multiples of the same relationship can exist. For instance,you can be married to more than one person at the same time!

You can send a request to another player and should you change your mind at any point, you can cancel the request before the other party accepts or declines.

The other person can also choose to accept or decline your relationship request.

If your friend denies your request you will be  informed.

If your friend accepts, then both players are sent a congratulations pop-ups and have the ability to share it in the form of a news feed.
